When Gaddafi fled, his female bodyguards ["The Revolutionary Nuns" or "Amazonian Guard"] also disbanded, but still many of them were tracked down. According to information organized by a Middle Eastern website, the first fled with her boyfriend but was caught by the opposition and shot dead, the two of them dying together. The second was identified despite her makeup /disguise and was beaten to death. The third was kidnapped by the opposition’s soldiers, viciously tortured and gang-raped for days before being strangled to death with the words “the fate for Gaddafi’s whores” beside her, her body rotting when discovered. At this moment Gaddafi was still on the run!

What happened to the other twenty-seven?

You do realise that the last link includes the word "debunked" ?

Can't say I applaud this.

How about a link to the actual story...not to the site's news feed subscription page?

I'd heard rumors (years ago) that Ghadaffi raped all of his female guard contingent.

I've always had the gut feeling that things would end badly for them.

“It is clear that the current period is cascading into paroxysmal revenge attacks and political cleansing.”

What's the difference between the "freedom fighters" and "dictators"?

Terror and Revenge Engulf NATO’s Libya

Terror and Revenge Engulf NATO

I searched around quite a bit on the net and found nothing about this happening now - however - in 1988 apparently several of them were killed in an attack.

I don't think there's anything, right now, to verify - just some photos claiming to be *them*

The OP links are being spammed all over the internet on various chat boards, but there is nothing else...AT ALL...about this anywhere else, much less any legitimate news site.

The media always show you the cheering “liberated people”, because that’s their favorite. They never show you the other side.

Quote, "Gaddafi Mourned Throughout Africa

"Muammar Al-Gaddafi’s death last week prompted an outpouring of sympathy from African countries that he has funded billions of dollars with during his 42-year rule."

"The Associated Press reported that many in Africa are remembering the Libyan dictator as a man willing to give his money away to help others, especially in Mali’s capital city Bamako."

"Other heads of state just drive past here in their limousines. Gadhafi stopped, pushed away his bodyguards and shook our hands," said bird-seller Cherno Diallo, standing Monday near a Libyan-funded hotel as quoted by the Associated Press. "Gadhafi’s death has touched every Malian, every single one of us. We’re all upset."

"Many in Africa who gathered at Gaddafi-funded mosques remembered him as a man who was an anti-Imperialist martyr and benefactor. Analysts estimated that Gaddafi had invested more than $150 billion in foreign aid, mainly to impoverished African nations."

Sean Fenley has also posted an excellent blog about Colonel Gaddafi on Open Salon…

16 Things That Libya Will Never See Again

All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 dinar (U.S.$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family.

Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25 percent of Libyans were literate. Today, the figure is 83 percent.

Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kickstart their farms are all for free.

If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need, the government funds them to go abroad, for it is not only paid for, but they get a U.S.$2,300/month for accommodation and car allowance.

If a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidizes 50 percent of the price.

The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 per liter.

Libya has no external debt and its reserves amounting to $150 billion are now frozen globally.

Now Libya has been reduced to rubble by Obama and his NATO playmates, and what were by far the most extensive social welfare programs in all of Africa have been erased as if they never existed.

Ghaddafi is mourned by those that had financial stake in his regime.

The media always show you the cheering “liberated people”, because that’s their favorite. They never show you the other side.

This blog post's one and only source seems to be AP. So that's a silly thing to say.

I want to see some merit to this story. Show us some evidence, will you? Make it clear. If everything in the OP is true, then I will view most parties in the Libya conflict as bloodthirsty animals.

OMG! Murder in the Middle East?! Why not post what you had for breakfast? Equally surprising.

Ghaddafi is mourned by those that had financial stake in his regime.

Yes, for those who always consider of the interest first like you. So that's why the new P.M. of liberated Libya is an oil goon. He works for whose interest? Would you tell us?

New Libyan "PM" is Big-Oil Goon
Meanwhile, rebels turn guns on each other turning Tripoli into a war zone, again.
by Tony Cartalucci

Correction: Abdurrahim el-Keib is replacing Mahmoud Jibril as "PM" of Libya, not Mustafa Abdul-Jalil as previously stated. This was a typo, the link associated with "Jalil" incorrectly, does in fact cover Jibril's visit to Washington D.C. during the NATO backed war in Libya.

November 2, 2011 - Associated Press recently reported that Libya's rebel militants have named a new "prime minister" this week. AP depicts the latest unelected Western proxy, Abdurrahim el-Keib, as a progressive academic who has spent decades in the United States teaching at Alabama University and leading the local Muslim community. Mentioned briefly as a "former employer," however, is the Petroleum Institute, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and sponsored by British Petroleum (BP), Shell, France's Total, the Japan Oil Development Company, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. El-Keib is listed as a "Professor and Chairman" in his Petroleum Institute profile which also describes extensive research conducted by him sponsored by various US government agencies and departments over the years.

Words cannot describe the injustice being brought upon Libya, the level of duplicity it was carried out with, and the flagrant looting the nation is now being subjected to by NATO's member states, facilitated by the latest unelected, decades-long servant of Western interests now masquerading as the nation's new "interim prime minister."

They interviewed one of them on NPR who said that Ghadaffi always was very professional with them, actually.

Run with dogs and you will get fleas.

There was talk that the story in the OP was fabricated. Is this OP true, not true, or based solely on the currently known facts?

I don't believe in brand name, I don't believe in authority. Small firm doesn't mean forgery. The evidence you required is impossible because this is discussion board not a court. If you request others with such things, please you show your evidence it's a fake first. Otherwise it's a villain's behavior.

I wonder where were you when Bush started his war on Iraq with "WMD". So many news agency, so called mainstream media had same tone that helped to promote an unjust war. So what with your two more sources value? This country is a covert totalitarian, their words don't mean truth. They just let out the news they want you to know, or the story they want you to believe. When the government passed the NDAA, an Act opposed by most people, where is the mainstream media? Ask for some merit from your master.

Well, I feel sorry for those women...whoever they are. I doubt they deserved to die, and at the very least they deserved a trial.

Here is the merit of your reliable source:

Mainstream Media Lies: 23 Things That Are Not What They Seem To Be On Television

Most Americans believe the lie that the mainstream media is "fair and balanced" and is looking out for the interests of average Americans. Well, that simply is not true. Those in the mainstream media serve those that are providing them with paychecks. The reality is that just 6 gigantic corporations collectively own most of the major mainstream media outlets in this country. .....

The following are 23 things that are not what they seem to be on television....

The Lie: Mitt Romney won Iowa.

The Truth: Mitt Romney may not have won Iowa. The following report of a documented vote discrepancy comes from KCCI....

Edward True, 28, of Moulton, said he helped count the votes and jotted the results down on a piece of paper to post to his Facebook page. He said when he checked to make sure the Republican Party of Iowa got the count right, he said he was shocked to find they hadn't.

"When Mitt Romney won Iowa by eight votes and I've got a 20-vote discrepancy here, that right there says Rick Santorum won Iowa," True said. "Not Mitt Romney."

True said at his 53-person caucus at the Garrett Memorial Library, Romney received two votes. According to the Iowa Republican Party's website, True's precinct cast 22 votes for Romney.
So how many other "vote discrepancies" were there in Iowa? Was this just a "coincidence" or did someone do this on purpose?.....
