Occupy Oakland members vote to deposit $20,000 with Wells Fargo - San Jose Mercury News

Excerpts:

Occupy Oakland has voted to deposit $20,000 with Wells Fargo Bank -- just days after Occupy protesters shattered windows of one of the bank's downtown Oakland branches during the group's attempt to stage a general strike in the embattled East Bay city.

...

"It takes time to transfer funds to a credit union," one of the general assembly members stated, according to the minutes posted on the website. "We need to help people in jail now."
I love good irony.

Since they believe they deserve to have some of the more wealthy individual's money, let's split that 20 grand and see what they think then! Dime to a dollar they'd hollar!

chump change compared to what they have in NYC OWS. I wonder if the knuckleheads in the tents know about the money the leaders are hoarding and where that money gets spent.
