ABC‘s ’The View’ Seeking To Host Daytime Republican Debate | TheBlaze.com

While they’re no stranger to hosting any number of prominent political figures — from congressmen to the president himself — the ladies of ABC’s “The View” are hoping to add “debate moderators” to their repertoire. This election cycle a View spokesman confirmed that requests have been sent to Republican campaigns for a debate that would take place during the show’s 11 a.m. EST time slot.
In an effort to reach a broader demographic campaigns are reportedly fielding requests from non-traditional venues to host debates, still, Republican candidates might be reluctant to tussle with left-wing moderators like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.
Do you think a GOP debate held on a program often hostile to Republicans is a good idea? Would help or hurt? Weigh in below.

Good idea or bad idea? Would you watch?

I don't think this is a good idea for GOP candidates, but I do think it would be entertaining.

If I was a candidate I would bow out. Maybe Jersey Shore will be next to want to host a debate.

Whatta joke!............

Those cackling hens actually debating? Shudder.

I think a non-televised debate in a sewer would be preferred by the republican candidates.

That show has zero chance of hosting a debate...they are ridiculously biased and one sided...

I think it would be a great idea, especially for GOP candidates, as I am guessing that a large number of female homemakers are also conservatives, and so this would be a good way to reach that demographic and ask them about the issues relevant to that demographic.

Even if it wasn't a full panel debate I think at the very least the show should ask the GOP candidates to come on the show separately but all of them be asked the same question.

Except for the cute blonde

Unless you meant the republican candidates of course then you are absolutely correct
