Drones Coming to a Town Near You! :D

    OWS watch out lol.

If you see a drone, run for it!

On a serious note, is Homeland Security bored? It can "shoot, taze and grenade American citizens".

I think it's cool - saves taxpayer money when in process of catching a suspect. You know - as opposed to putting a multi-million dollar copter in the air risking the lives of flight personnel in the process and so on.

So what..? We're not broke? We can afford these things? Nice little expansion of government and powers, but don't you mind. They'll never use it against......you.

"We're not going to use it to be invading somebody's privacy. It'll be used for situations we have with criminals," Gage said.
"No matter what we do in law enforcement, somebody's going to question it, but we're going to do the right thing, and I can assure you of that," he said.
    Well. I'm convinced.

Gage said he has no immediate plans to outfit his drone with weapons, and he also ruled out using the chopper for catching speeders. "We're not going to use it for that," he said.
Translation: It's not in the budget right now.

Well, not really. Drones (the military version) are much more expensive than the average jet ranger that the cops use. Second, the drones have a tendency to lose communication with their pilot. That means they fly without control inputs until communication can be reestablished. They don't just crash, but since they'll be used in and near cities, they'll also be near busy airports. They could cause delays and/or safety hazards.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Their mere presence near busy airports is a hazard. Drones are incapable of "see and avoid." That stupid little camera they have can't properly scan the skies.

Send the drones along the border. Especially the unfenced sections.
