During Herman Cain’s tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, at least two female employees complained to colleagues and senior association officials about inappropriate behavior by Cain, ultimately leaving their jobs at the trade group, multiple sources confirm to POLITICO.
The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable, the sources said, and they signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. The agreements also included language that bars the women from talking about their departures.

The desperation to find something to smear him with has hit new lows. It will be completely dismissed.

Someone got mad at something I said to them when I worked at Dairy Queen in 1996. I should be fired from my teaching job!

Rut roh. See that's the problem. Gotta' recruit and run candidates when they're much younger. They haven't shown what louses they can be yet.

Not even close as a comparison and you obviously didnt read the article...let me show you some more

In one case, POLITICO has seen documentation describing the allegations and showing that the restaurant association formally resolved the matter. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range.

On the details of Cain’s allegedly inappropriate behavior with the two women, POLITICO has a half-dozen sources shedding light on different aspects of the complaints.

The sources — which include the recollections of close associates and other documentation — describe episodes that left the women upset and offended. These incidents include conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature, taking place at hotels during conferences, at other officially sanctioned restaurant association events and at the association’s offices. There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.

Sexual Harrassment is just that....when you run for President..what you did in diapers is public information....

We have already agreed that even if it did happen, sexual harrassment doesn't disqualify one from being president.

Did what you say cause the Dairy Queen owners pay the person some money to keep quiet about what you said?

If not I think what Cain probably said is rather more significant. Most organizations do not give payouts without a rather good reason

Didnt say it did...but were entitled to know what his character is and has been prior to the election

I'm not gonna to comment on these allegations but does this face just not scream "Giggity Giggity".

He isn't a serious candidate, so its hard to take any of this seriously.

Maybe, maybe not. History tells us that anyone who wants to be in the White House will have all their skeletons dragged out of their closet whether they like it or not.

Well, Cain has now denied the allegations so if they do prove true then we can add dishonesty to the list of reasons he should not be POTUS.

He isn't a serious candidate? That's news to me.

Personally, no matter what the poll numbers say, I don't consider Cain to be a serious candidate. Neither is the 999 plan - the cornerstone of his campaign - a serious plan. He has little to offer beyond that.

Or it may get hom the democrat vote. Although...from the sounds of it...unlike Clinton, he was just accused of improper conduct, and not rape, sexual assault, indecent exposure...etc etc etc...

That is what my friend said about Obama when I told him about Obama. I was like this guy is gonna run and he was like who. He did not take it serious til he did.

I think folks are underestimating Cain.

If they were that bothered by it, they should have pursued other avenues where he would have had to answers the allegations and suffer some sort of penalty. As far as I'm concerned, they accepted money as a settlement, so they weren't too upset about it. Issue closed. What else ya got?

Disclaimer: I am not a Cain supporter, but I do see this as a non-issue. Cain can be defeated by his own "plan".

I am not surprised about this at all for some reason.. He does seem like the type that would act like that while being a CEO. He is just really full of himself or something.
