Occupy Chicago Protester at Rahm Emanuel’s Office in City Hall: Revolution Will Require Collapsing American Government | Video | TheBlaze.com

You might recall that on Wednesday, angry Chicago “Occupiers” stormed Rahm Emanuel’s office at City Hall demanding they be allowed to set up camp at Grant Park indefinitely. Emanuel, however, remained ensconced in his office and refused to emerge, infuriating the already-agitated protesters. Now, footage has surfaced featuring some of the more radical occupiers at City Hall that day, including retired school teacher and militant gay-rights activist Roger Fraser. When Rebel Pundit asked Fraser the “revolution” would require “collapsing the American government,” Fraser answered in the affirmative stating, “personally, I think so.”

(Nevermind that he gets almost $8,000 a month in pension money. And people say teachers are underpaid....)

What's significance does this have?

Oh and the btw, I'm from Chicago, this was shown on the news and they hardly "stormed' into Rahm Emmanuel's office. But I am glad they went there since they are now holding government accountable as well.

It's an opinion from an Occupier. Do you agree or disagree?
Yeah, I'm not playing this game again. I ask you a question, you refuse to answer and then you ask me a question. I'm over it. Please grow up and start being honest when post things.

LOL! What on earth is your problem? If you don't want to discuss the topic, then why are you here?

I asked you a question and you refused to answer it honestly and instead responded with a question. That's your MO. You refuse to give honest answers to other people and yet you expect other people to give them to you. It's pathetic, old and boring.

I answered your question, playdrive. It's an opinion from an Occupier. I think all opinions are interesting to discuss. You don't seem to think so. So.....if you don't want to discuss it, don't. Bye. :)

That a BS answer and you know it. Honesty is the best policy, maybe you should try it sometime. People like you, grim, cpwill and others only post articles about OWS or the left that have something that you perceive as extreme or negative just like people like hazlnut and pbrauer do the same for the right. There's a reason for this so pretending that "oh gee golly, I just like opinions" is your reason is BS. Most people see through it and it's incredibly laughable to believe that other people should give you their own honest opinions when you aren't even willing to be honest with them.

So I'm going to ask you again: What is the significance of this article in particular? There are hundreds of neutral and positive articles about OWS, why this one?

:coffeepap

I'm just going to ignore you, playdrive, since you and I can't seem to get any kind of discussion going. Have a nice night.

All you have to do is answer a simple question Josie. Why this article out of hundreds of others? Even pbrauer, hazlnut, cpwill, grim and all the others are honest about why they post only negative or extreme articles by those of the opposite opinion. You're ignoring me because you want to keep up the facade that you're just interested in opinions when there's another reason.

Why don't we just look at the last 4 threads besides this one you've posted about OWS?

Oh yeah Josie, you're just interested in other people's opinions. Those are super intellectual topics where we can talk about the ideas behind OWS rather than petty tabloid stories that serve as nothing more than useless ad homs against individuals that are not representative of an entire movement. Please. I'll start answering your questions when you start being honest.

Personally, I don't think our system is beyond reform or really needs anything beyond some minor tweaks. What we have in this country is mostly good.

I agree with this.

An occupier says that the United States government needs to be collapsed and you ask what significance it has? Really?

Or, is this just denial of the fact that the occupiers are a buncha clowns, that either don't have a clue and if they do have a clue, they have very bad intentions?

That last part...

Tell me what significance it has.

(Nevermind that he gets almost $8,000 a month in pension money. And people say teachers are underpaid....)

When asked what he thought it would take to achieve the activists’ goals, he remarked: “This kind of thing on a massive scale.“ He also answered in the affirmative as to whether or not the revolution would require collapsing the American government, and explained: ”Because….the resistance against this will be overwhelming…very strong….and relentless.”

I don't know what he was asked, but if the story is true, it must have been something like, "Do you think it will require a revolution to collapse the American government?" To which it seems he replied, "Yes, because….the resistance against this will be overwhelming…very strong….and relentless.”

What a very odd question to ask. I think it was intentionally loaded and inappropriate, frankly. And the man was caught off balance by it...as anyone might be.

Look, we've got to be able to look through media crap and realize that, first and foremost, they're after a story with legs. Even if they have to engineer one.

A protester suggesting that the United States government be overthrown isn't a big deal?
That's what I'm asking you. Why is it a big deal? If it's so obvious you should be able to tell me.

This isn't a Question/Answer site. If you don't to discuss the thread, go away.
Excuse me. But apdst is making a claim and I'm asking him why he's making it. That's what happens on a debate sites.

If you don't like what I'm saying, don't read my comments. You do realize that Josie and Apdst asked me questions as well. Your comment is a joke.
