And if the city just allowed them to peaceably occupy the park there would not have been either......

You folks really don't like to debate much do you?
It's true, cops really can't take jokes...
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Well since Vance bothered to try to open the can of worms that was your ABSOLUTELY misdirecting and obvious attempt to avoid directly answering the question ..

    Who said that its okay?

When citizens band together with the intent to create and maintain Chaos, **** happens. Its the result of the Chaos the Protesters created... nay... they WANTED.

The majority of the folks that have been showing up to the protests are nothing more than anarchist jack asses seeking to "get in on the action". Why else do more people come out when police incidents occur?
"I condemn the ideology of White Supremacy and Nazism. They are thugs, criminals, and repugnant, and are against what I believe to be "The American Way" "
Thus my obligatory condemnation of White supremacy will now be in every post, lest I be accused of supporting it because I didn't mention it specifically every time I post.

I think that would be kick ass if he showed up haha.
I'm coming to see that no matter what law we regulate, be it the stand your ground act, there is never an objective morally right answer to any morale question; in fact, since there are multiple objectively right answers to every moral question that leaves us with a lot of grey area and a lot of black area (not in the racial since).
