Thomas Sowell: Herman Cain More Black Than Barack Obama

:lamo

Yeah, them dumb blacks shouldn't get into private schools!

Does he even realise the implications of that statement?

I love to beat these bastards at their own game of identity politics.

Yeah, real blacks don't get raised in Hawaii among privelege.

Obama is bi-racial, not black. He's just as white as he is black, genetically speaking.

Probably because he's a fiscal conservative and that tends to go against the Liberal theory on economics.
Me I've read a few of his works and I respect his views on Economics.

He's tired of being crapped on for his political beliefs as they pertain to his color and he's throwing it back.

Welcome to the 1%, Barry!

How does it taste?

Bitter, Reg, oh so bitter. Whatever will Obama do, now that he’s lost all those Fox watching conservatives who would have voted for him just for being black? Losing such a huge block of voters will totally devastate his campaign; he might as well throw in the towel now.

I'm really sick of this idea that there's a "More black" or "Less Black" or "Real Black" person.

It's on the same level of stupidity as people who use the phrase "True American".

There's no such thing and there never will be and to use that phrase to describe oneself, or another person is simply moronic.

I hope you realize I was poking fun at what the OP posted. The more black, less black thing is really stupid.

I'm white and have a black great-grandchild via adoption. Is he less black because his parents are white? What about my two 1/4 black great-grandchildren? How black are they?

How about my 1/2 Hispanic great-grandchild? Her Dad and his family immigrated from South America around 1900 so he is a third generation American who speaks very little Spanish and has never been to the country his great-grandparents left.

The only reason any of this is even discussed is because the US has a sinister past and old ideas die hard. I've lived all over the world and this sort of nonsense just does not happen in most first world countries.

Maybe it is time America outgrew her prejudice and just treated people as people.

My comments weren't directed at you at all :)

You raise some good points.

By the way I'm White and Born in Africa, am I African?

<gasp> You're African-American!

Ah not quite my friend, it's alot more complicated.

I'm a born African, dual British Citizen. Who's also now a Canadian citizen.

So technically speaking does that make me an Anglo-African Canadian?

We all know you're an albino Zulu. Maybe you should get an assegai instead of a halberd.

Nah we'll stick with the halberds, much more effective.

"post black" - Google Search

I want to see Cain announce he will have an all 100% black cabinet Any thing less will be a sellout by this thread.

So is dark brown the new black, or is it still navy blue?

Actually, Hawaii is a true melting pot - there are people from all over the world living there and the primary population are Asians (over 38%) and white and mix race people are very similar in percentage (24.7% and 23.6%) Hawaii QuickFacts from the US Census Bureau

To say Obama is 'off the plantation' is beyond ignorance and well into bigotry IMO.
