It depends on what the OP means by "Curb".

To make any change because of suicide will undoubtedly create differences in finances/whatever. I don't know what the OP has in mind, but I don't think gay suicides should be given special attention over straight suicides. All suicide is equally sad.

Beg pardon, but what do you mean?

Why not focus on all suicides?

What do you think I mean by "curb"? Looking at it in context, its pretty obvious what I mean.

Of course not. I never said that was the case, Your Star. However, if someone WERE to do so, then there would be a problem. Merely, I am wonering what sort of "plan" the OP is thinking up. That's all. ;-)

I believe the OP stated his plan in the first post.

I think that this only shows why we need to create strict rules and enforce them when it comes to bullying, especially when it comes to matters such as these. I think that there should be an open network of parents, teachers, and school counselors which a kid can come to and talk about their problems.

    *Sigh*

What do you mean by: "how do you think we can attempt to curb the amount, if not completely end, teen suicides, especially among those of the LGBT community?"

Obviously, you seem to think something should be done, when nothing really needs to be done because all suicide is a tragedy. I dislike playing careful games of cat and mouse. Tell me why you think gay suicides are more important? Obviously, if you did NOT think gay suicides more important, then you would not create this thread about curbing gay suicides among the LGBT community.

It's simple. Tell us what you think and why.

Thats not what I got from the OP. The fact is gay teens commit suicide in a higher percentage then their peers, and more education about homosexuality/transgenderism, as well as actual counselors in the school(which any student could utilize, not just LGBT teens) would be helpful.
