Okay, then address those concerns with the people who do this because I can't help you with it.

I don't perceive the Tea Party to be a racist organization as I've said in multiple threads. 1Perry made a comment that the OWS might be negatively impacted if racists try to align themselves with OWS. I responded by saying, yeah that could happen like the Tea Party was negatively impacted when some racists showed up at their rallies. If you A) Think that no racists showed up at Tea Party rallies. B) Think I support the notion that the Tea Party is racist. AND/OR C) Think I believe the Tea Party wanted to destroy the nation , then you can't read and should refrain from trying to do so in the future.
This is a different arguement than your original one.

It's actually not. It's probably just that this the first time you've comprehended it.

    Was it unfair? Indeed.

nota, the term "tea party" wasn't in play during Bush's years, but there were many conservatives speaking out against the outrageous spending (which was the conception of what grew into the Tea Party). That's what I'm talking about. It's really when I started getting interested in politics, really.

No, your first arguement was that they lost control. Your second arguement was that they were negatively affected (by false accusations).

It was born out of Ron Paul's campaign

My question wasn't "do you share their worldview?" My question was "Do they have ideas for policies that would destroy our country?" You were more than happy to say the tea party does and I know you don't share their worldview, so what's stopping you from commenting on socialists, communists, nazis and anarchists?

Thanks for the explanation, and I know just what you mean. I was there too and saw for myself that the anger against outrageous spending wasn't really very partisan.

But whatever the impetus was, the fact is that there wasn't even a beginning "tea party" until 2008 insofar as I'm aware, only disaffected citizens appalled and terrified by wanton spending by RINOs and then the current Admin.
