That sample size is really small for such a basic survey.

Let us assume that if Romney wins in 2012 that the GOP also takes the Senate and holds the House. The big question then becomes will Washington DC be a rerun of what has happened in states such as Wisconsin, Michigan and others where they not have one party rule? Would the Republicans use their majorities to introduce wide ranging and sweeping changes repealing much of the last 80 years of progressive reform?

And if they would do that, what would be the position of Romney in terms of signing such right wing legislation? The possiblity for harm is great.

He would go along with all of it for the first two years minimum...then go into campaign mode

I believe Romney is the strongest candidate in the GOP race and might beat Obama. I seriously doubt the GOP will end up in power in both the Senate and House. Congress' approval rates have dropped to the lowest point in history and the approval rating of GOPs in Congress is even lower. They will be lucky if they can hold on to the House majority.

If the GOP does win the White House, I kinda hope the Democrats take back the House and keep the Senate. I personally am a fan of divided government.
