Herman Cain Leads Republican Field In Zogby Poll Has a new frontrunner emerged?

When the field is as large as the GOP is...they are damaging themselves. Some of them should have dropped already not just Pawlenty. There are some really big egos running for the GOP nod.
The most far right candidate, who says all the things the right wants to hear...may very well be the worst candidate to beat obama....cutting social security may be a wonderful thing to tell the right and the teaparty supporters, in the primary...may be a game changer in the general....romny is playing his hand the smartest to win the general.

I read a report that the campaign cash is dwindling among a lot of them. Rommey and Paul have a net positive and Perry is hanging in there. I heard some good news from the Cain camp recently but will see. Q3 is coming to end and reports money wise is going to come out sometime soon.

I think Bachmann, and Newt are for sure going to call it quits soon.

I agree something will give soon...bachman does nothing for the GOP...the lady has had her heyday now its over...all she does is attack the front runners and its obviously not done her anygood or the GOP...she needs to go away.
Newt has actually moved up some...but not enough....Gingrich, Santorum, Huntsman, Bachman need to drop....Paul needs to drop but he wont...he will not win.
The other point is...will another candidate or two jump in ...in the next week...that could make matters worse for the gop..with a brand new round of attacks on the new meat....whoever jumps in <christie> will certainly get vetted...the top 3 arent just going to lay down for him

Gingrich is up in the latest poll, significantly.

I don't know about Newt - I don't think he's actually campaigning, I think he's just having a good time, and see's himself as "representing the party".

means nothing...he cant win....I personally like him...unlike others

Newts a very bright guy...and Ive always liked him and I still do...I think he would make a better president than the entire field....but he wont win in this anti rino climate the far right has going on..

actually you clearly dont LMAO

a shock jock is a radio broadcaster/disc jockey. Thats not barack obama

you already admitted that Obama is to nice and easy and that is party thinks he is too NON-partisan but then turn around and say he is SUPER partisan. Well so, logically that makes no sense. Im guessing thats why you are only offering insults instead of anything that has merit

let me know when you want to discuss the topic and actually back up your false claim.
I have been reprimanded by the powers to be here and I will not jeopardize that again. Sorry, but I cannot continue discussing anything with you. I said that I told you the truth and you accused me of lying [see link below]. There are more than one view to things. The fact that liberals believe Obama is milquetoast does not mean that conservatives agree with that assessment. Yes, Cain was on radio and Stern was on television. Obama is also on television and when he is, he is a shock jock.

Apparently, the powers here believe that you can insult, but I cannot. For that reason, I bid you adieu.

I have already told you the truth. If you do not wish to accept it, I still could care less.

Les - the expression is "I could NOT care less". You said that you could care less which means you have not reached the bottom level of contempt and indifference that you wanted to portray with that comment.

Its a common mistake of language.

Thanks for the English lesson.

Ummm, you were one of the people who called Obama "milquetoast"

Well, we finally partially agree on something. Obama is part milquetoast. He is also part unqualified.

Since when are you a liberal?

I am not going down this road again. I am not a liberal, but he is a milquetoast to liberals. That makes him a milquetoast while at the same time he is a shock jock, as conservatives view him. You see, it depends on which side you view him from. I know how to look at more than one side.

You called him "milquetoast". You're not a liberal

I can see why you want to avoid this fact

Are you trying to bait me? I provided the truth. Accept it or reject it. I could care less.

For the benefit of Haymarket, on a scale of 0 to 10 million with 10 million meaning that I care the most and 0 being absolutely no care, I am saying here that I care 0.1 out of the 10 million. I could care less, as in 0.0. But, I still thank you for the lesson. I knew it, but old habits won't always go away.

Paul needs to drop but he wont...he will not win.

*beep beep* Do. not .vote. for. Ron. Paul. *beep beep*

I remember just a little bit ago some of Vermin Pain's fans were praising him as some sort of anti-establishment candidate who the media was ignoring. Naturally, they were hilariously wrong about him. As if a former chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve could really be "anti-establishment" in any way. When a candidate can be in third place with double digit support yet only get minimal coverage, almost always negative coverage, from the media and gets fielded fewer questions in debates than candidates he has been consistently beating in the polls then you have a legitimate argument.

You should really ask yourself why someone who, by all indications, has no skeletons in his closet and only advocates liberty getting such high poll numbers is such a threat that so-called liberal and conservative media present a united front against his candidacy. Does anyone here think Romney, Cain, or Perry will bring any real change to this country? Obama has clearly not brought any real change to the country.

How can anyone be excited by typical establishment figures spewing out manufactured talking points? That the media are so obsessed with these people, while clearly attempting to suppress Ron Paul should tell you how much they want change.

Rather than bowing down to the decrees of the media and the political establishment how about you spend some time thinking for yourself?

I never insulted you I told that truth, I gave you ever post number of what you said that was wrong and tried logic. You choose otherwise and attacked instead of choosing civil debate. Obama is not a shock jock because he is neither a DJ or a Radio Broadcaster cant be a shock jock without being one of those unless of course you want to rewrite the definition LOL

nor it is possible for Obama to have his biggest criticism by supporters and independents to be that he is too NON-partisan and he be SUPER-partisan at the same time. Just not possible.

I agree it does depend on how you view it and from the OBJECTIVE side he is neither. You are only looking from ONE side.

and staying on topic is there any reason that even if Cain stays front runner anybody thinks he can win?

At least he REWORDED his original bigot statement about muslims and admitted he misspoke and said he meant extremists/jihad. Not sure anyone believes him but atleast he made an attempt.
