I think what this shows is that it's way too early to make hard and fast judgements as to who is in and who is out.

We should all be patient and wait for the field to thin out a bit, but if you're counting on that happening any time soon, hold your horses because there are at least two still on the side line who might jump in.

Sarah Palin who will never get anything close to honest fair treatment from the Liberal Left and Christie who I'm not so sure about any more than I am anyone else at this point.

As I said it's just too early.

I am sort of turning away from Perry because I am not sure about his chances to beat Obama.

This state is pretty much tied up with a nice neat bow and has been given to Romney by the GOP establishment here. For Mitt to win this straw poll on Mackinaw is really no big deal and something to be expected. While his political career was in Massachusetts, he is thought of as something of a favorite son here.

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

His father was the Governor of the state and he was born in Detroit. Congratulations Mitt!

Good luck taking Michigan in 2012, any Republican.
