all Christians in the USA are Roman Catholic? that's interesting.

and what makes you think the NJ/Italian-mob issue wouldn't come up?

I don't think his ego trumps the effort it takes run a national campaign. Maybe if he beomes a contestant on "The Biggest Loser."

I'd waaaaaay prefer Christie over Romney or Perry. He'd tear Obama apart in the general election. Sadly he's so viciously attacked the idea of running in the past that I can't see how he could change his mind... shame. I really just want anyone other than the goofballs/sleazebags currently running.

JFK wasn't running for the GOP nomination.

If he had, he would have been destroyed simply because he was a Roman Catholic.

Obama will be praying that Christie drops dead from a massive heart attack the day before the election. He knows it will be his only chance.

That's a pretty big leap. Newsmax reported that he was reconsidering, but Christie's people have said that he's not. Newsmax info must not have been reliable.

Oh please. Some of the most famous and popular conservatives are Catholics, including Pat Buchanon. We have an African American, a Mormon, a woman as serious political candidates for the GOP nomination and you come up with that statement.
