Web verdict on Perry: Brutal

rather than being unsure of himself, I came to the opposite conclusion. Perry is cocky to the point of being a smug smartass type who wears a smirk on his face nearly all the time. That is most definitely NOT a good feature for a candidate for President of the USA.

Do you think he believes he has the power to lower the oceans and heal the sick?

My test for 2012 is that I want the Republican candidate to be willing and able to defend and advocate the concepts that formed the Core of the Ryan Budget. It seems we have one front-runner who is able, but not willing, and another who is willing, but unable.

can I just vote for Caingritch instead?

Coming into the race late , Perry got all the attention. But clearly the honeymoon is over and Romney just spanked him.
Remember how everyone got excited when Fred Thompson was coming into the race and then he fell asleep?

No, I wanted Mitch Daniels.

No, I wanted Mitch Daniels.

The core of ryans budget was pure take from the middleclass and give to the rich and corporations..

Oh, I remember that. A whole bunch of Republicans got a huge woody over Thompson, and then crickets. From him.

One thing to remember -- at this point in the 2008 race, the GOP front runners were Giuliani and Huckabee. And they were sure to face off against Hillary Clinton in the general election. Just saying.

:doh

that, of course, is utter crap, which I pointed out to you at length at the time. if anything, the Ryan plan cut the rich more by means-testing Medicare.

What matters most is not what bloggers think about the nominees but rather how the constituents vote in the primary.
