Any website that provides nothing but good hard facts is a website I support.

Quit talking about porn!

The fake birth certificate thing went away because 2 days after it was released Obama the super hero president saved the planet by killing bin laden. Bigger story trumped it. Planned perfectly.

Yyyeeeeeaaahhhhh. That's why it went away.

Why can't he defend himself? It's America, free

Well in general, this is the right attitude to have for any politician, not just Obama.

I don't think it's desperation, I think he's pissed off because campaigning has gotten worse and worse and worse and now it's all finger pointing, spin, and distortion. I'd be mad as hell too.

I guess I haven't seen anything that I haven't seen year after year worth the effort. It's all the same stuff - repeated. I think it's ridiculous.

All he's done his entire presidency is try to push things off on others and dodge serious issues and questions and make excuses for everything. If that's brought his campaign down then oh well. . .too bad. Maybe he should have taken a different attitude from the start. But that woudl be asking him to change who he is.

What is he? An embarrassment - always was, still is.

Wow. How desperate Obama must be. We should all mock fact checking! Stupid people trying to correct misleading and dishonest attacks.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain..."

If I was about to launch a PR blitzkrieg, the last thing I want to have to do is have to convince people fact check site after fact check site is liberal nonsense.

There's a name for the fallacy of dismissing the source instead of the sources claims. Anybody remember it off the top of their heads, or do I need to look it up? (Bearing in mind that doing so will refresh my memory and make me more annoying)

I think that's a sad sign of us becoming acclimated to this dishonest and horrible form of political debate.

It also dicked the release of Corso's book on the subject. Best "Ha Haa!" Of the year!

Acclimated?

It's been like this since the beginning - it's actually getting better, not worse, over the decades.

This is better? Dear god, we should just set fire to it all!

 That's the inanity of the political circus arena.

At least our political parties aren't printing all of our news stories - just some of them.

I'm not sure about that. I don't have much faith in our press.

There's nothing wrong with systematically addressing personal and professional criticisms of one's person in a public forum.

Our society doesn't value presidential behaviors, and no one believes that any of our politicians are above this.

It sounds like a decent idea for the democrats if it can counter or disarm the swiftboating and all the other absurd quasi-slanderous things people get into. They got some hardcore trolls on the right, what can I say?

Google Video News Release. I'm sure you're gonna see a LOT of them in the next year or so.

What will be funny is when the real fact checking websites begin to fact check this propoganda "fact check" site. The motives of this site is clear; to defend Obama, not to state the "facts"

I kind of understand it when you have nuts on the right claiming that optional end of life counseling is he same thing as a death panel and other trash. I would bet money that this is something that every major political run will be using in five to ten years. I laughed back when I first saw candidates going on twitter and facebook but now I hardly think you'd be able to find any presidential candidate not on there now.

OMFG, :2rofll: O'looser and his totally incompetent administration wouldn't know a fact to check if it bit him in the a$$.

All they'll do is restate all the monotonous yapping points he's had in all his many many speeches - seeing as how he never actually stopped campaigning.

"The infamous idiot president and the longest speech in the world - occasionally he'd take some time off to look like he was doing his job"

I don't think anybody has a problem with this. Fact check the **** out of everything and I bet I'm happy with the result.

Dismiss challenges to facts out of hand based purely on the "source" and a fallacy is being indulged in.

Killing the messenger to dodge the message.
