Hey I got an idea. To save government funding, let's take away relief efforts for this fire and send it up to the Vermont floods.

    /sarcasm

OK seriously, how insanely offensive would that suggestion be? How soulless, gutless, and uncaring would such a person be? Very. And yet, I guarantee you that if this fire starts growing, people are going to start making very similar suggestions. How monumentally insensitive such comments would be to residents, business owners, workers, and anyone else directly affected by the fire. If Houston needs help, we should send it!

EDIT: Good to hear that the fire's contained.

If you'd like to send a kindly-worded letter to the fed that'd be awesome. We're still trying to get help.

I tried to find a map that showed all the fires burning in Texas right now, but I couldn't find a recent one. Are the fires getting contained at all? Or is it just getting worse?
It's pretty awful, from all the news I've been hearing.
    you're back!
