Someone pointed this story out to me the other day. It's a really interesting discovery and innovation. I'm just hoping they can make them look better than the cell tower trees that we've got in a couple places around New England. I'll be interested to see what becomes of it.

I wish the article went into a little more detail of the formula and what recurring patterns trees make depending on their species and location.

It is actually based on the Fibonacci sequence, worth looking up. Its one of those "divine mathematics" things. Math that shows up in natural systems everywhere. Nautilus shells and the temple of the Ark of the Covenant, right?

Rick Perry would agree with that, since he believes electricity comes from God, not from solar cells.

To those who believe in God, all things come from God as he created all things. Literally he knows electricity is generated by solar cells which convert photons into electrons but the ability for solar cells to exist at all are of man and man of God. See how it works or are you just trying to be cheeky?
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

"Last week, Jon Huntsman began to call out Governor Rick “4 Pinocchios” Perry and others in his party for being anti-science.

Huntsman: "I think there’s a serious problem. The minute that the Republican Party becomes the party – the anti-science party, we have a huge problem. We lose a whole lot of people who would otherwise allow us to win the election in 2012. When we take a position that isn’t willing to embrace evolution, when we take a position that basically runs counter to what 98 of 100 climate scientists have said, what the National Academy of Science – Sciences has said about what is causing climate change and man’s contribution to it, I think we find ourselves on the wrong side of science, and, therefore, in a losing position.

The Republican Party has to remember that we’re drawing from traditions that go back as far as Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, President Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan and Bush. And we’ve got a lot of traditions to draw upon. But I can’t remember a time in our history where we actually were willing to shun science and become a – a party that – that was antithetical to science. I’m not sure that’s good for our future and it’s not a winning formula.

The President doesn't decide any policy of or relating to evolution or creationism anyway so it's a completely irrelevant topic to bring up. The President can believe whatever he wants and it doesn't matter.

Lady, you've got political opinions, and that's fine. You know what they say about opinions and assholes. But really, ask the man yourself! Don't use your kids like that.
