Nor, does it change the fact that South Africa's government is led by the African National Congress in cooperation with the Congress of South African Trade Unions and the South African Communist Party.

    I rest my case.
Oh, you're bitching about a foreign and sovereign nation ending apartheid and democratically voting which way to take their country in. You seriously think South African trade unions and the ANC is worse then government led massacres against it's own people, torture, and racist policies?

I think you're the one with issues...

And that does not prove that

    A) Mandela is a ardent communist (he's not, he's more of a social democrat)

    B) That South Africa is a communist nation (It's not)

    C) That South Africa under Apartheid is better (It wasn't) and any self respecting black man would never say such a thing.
What is his beef with you? It seems like he started a bait thread just for you.

Yep! I bet the Egyptians are really disappointed after trading one asshole for another.

CAIRO (AP) -- Egyptian army troops wielding batons and firing in the air dispersed dozens of activists holding a traditional Ramadan meal in Cairo's central Tahrir square Friday, witnesses said.

The soldiers moved in shortly after the activists broke their daily fast during the Muslim holy month with a communal meal after sundown. The clampdown indicates Egypt's military rulers will no longer tolerate any gathering in the square, which served as the epicenter of the uprising that toppled former President Hosni Mubarak.

Whatever one's political lean may be. The reality is that Egypt seems to be evolving into a political disaster. Not a good thing for the Egyptians. Not a good thing for the region or the world....

Tunisia is doing fine compared to Egypt. It's rather sad that threads have been already made about post-Mubarak Egypt's problem, yet Tunisia has no threads, nor much headlines compared to Egypt.
That being said, it's rather sad that the Egyptian people suffered all this bloodshed and problems (the Egyptian economy suffered horribly, and every aspect of Egyptian society from its artifacts to utilities has suffered), just to have another dictatorship, one that might actually be worse than Mubarak as it's run by a military council
