This is heavy! It also goes a long way to vendicate the Swift Boat vets that called Kerry out for being a fake hero.

John Kerry was introduced at the 2004 Democratic National Convention by Wade Sanders, a retired Navy Captain and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy who served as a Swift Boat officer in Vietnam. Like Kerry, Sanders was the recipient of a Silver Star for gallantry in action. During the 2004 campaign, Sanders functioned as Kerry lead attack dog against the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, repeatedly denouncing the veterans on the air as liars and comparing them to Nazi propagandists.

Wade Sanders is now in Federal prison, serving a 37-month sentence for possessing child pornography. Now the Navy Times reports that Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus has revoked Sanders' Silver Star. The highly unusual decision appears unrelated to Sanders' felony conviction. A Navy spokesman cited "subsequently determined facts and evidence surrounding both the incident for which the award was made and the processing of the award itself." John Kerry has to be hoping this doesn't become a trend.

bah there were hundreds of thousands in nam that were the real deal...not a self movie making pos...his purple hearts were BULL****...you get 3 you get out of the combat zone....his last one he got a scratch on his finger... hes a piece of trash....just like al gore running around saying he was a nam vet he was a half ass reporter never saw a second combat....

You have actual proof of that, or are you still harping the same tired old talking points?

The point is: If the report that rated Kerry to receive an award for valor is false, Kerry's service in Vietnam is totally meaningless.

Kerry wrote himself three purples for scratches to get out as fast as possible, abandoning and then bad mouthing his buddies. He shot a fleeing VC in the back for his silver, no V; whoopie.

I can criticize him for wasting Charlie, but it doesn't rate a Silver Star.

It's directly related to Kerry. The very guy who called the Swift Boat vets liars and Nazis, in defense of John Kerry turns out to be a pedorist and was wearing an illegal award. Speaks to Kerry's credibility in a big way.

Too many fake such things ... easy enough to pick up a real silver star or purple heart at a flea market somewhere and make claims. I guess the fakers hope everyone's lazy and won't check it out. Hell... that swiftboat thing was back in 2003.

Just... wow.

Find one of our boys or girls just getting back from Iraq/Afghanistan. Ask them if they won any medals. If they say no, tell them to their face that their service is totally meaningless. Preferably at a bar where lots of people hear you. I ****ing dare you.

Yes, going to war and serving your country is totally meaningless if you don't deserve an award.

This is Steve Pitkin's admission that Winter Soldier was a ****ing joke and packed with lies. He also admits that Vietnam Veterans Against The War were a propaganda tool for the North Vietnamese.

Like many of you, I fought in Vietnam. And like many of you, I came home to find that wearing a Class A uniform in public was an invitation to abuse. I joined Vietnam Veterans Against the War because I wanted to find other veterans I could talk to about my experiences, and because I was angry with the government for fighting a war it had no intention of winning. I had no idea that the national leadership of the VVAW was meeting with the North Vietnamese and Vietcong and repeating their talking points.

In January of 1971, I rode to Detroit with John Kerry and Scott Camil for the "Winter Soldier Investigation." The second day I was there, Kerry and the other leaders told me they wanted me to testify. They knew I was one of the very few real combat veterans in the room. I told them I didn't have anything to say. Kerry said, "Surely you've seen some of the atrocities."

That piece-a-**** didn't serve his country. He served his own political agenda. A person that serves his/her country doesn't tell bald-face lies about his/her comrades in arms; like Kerry did.

John Kerry is a ****ing disgrace to everyone whose worn the uniform since 1775.
