Surrogacy becoming a problem in Russia.

This is only one of the countless problems in Russia. Surrogacy is illegal, but is rarely enforced, and Surrogacy has turned into a multi million dollar industry in Russia.
 
With all the children in orphanages in Russia, I can't understand why they're "so desperate" to try surrogacy. For some reason, Russians seem to have this hang-up about adoptions. One of our friends has a Russian husband, and since she can't bear anymore children (besides the one they have), she wanted to adopt. But to him, it felt like he would be raising someone else's child.

Some couples in Russia are willing to adopt, but only under certain "conditions" (to be fair, that's a lot of Americans too). For example, my two children (whom I adopted from Russia) are biological siblings. They have another brother (about two years younger than my son), who was adopted by a Russian couple. I don't understand how they took one, but not the other two (though it did work out for me).
 
That looks so sad, I can't even press play...
 
I think it's evil to treat a child like this. As it's said in the video the child get tread as though he/she is a commodity.
