It just seems really old fashion that women can't join it... it doesn't seem right in this day and age.

Some other countries do not assign G to God, as the word for God in many other languages doesn't start with a G. Most Masonic references to G have to do with Geometry.

Well, both of my grandfathers were very smart. My one grandfather has an extremely high IQ and he likes aviation and would fly planes, rebuild them and engineer them as a hobby. He built factory buildings and designed the layout for the workers to mass produce stuff before he retired. If Freemasonry involved geometry, math, higher concepts, etc. I could see why he might like it, and I might be interested too, but I can't join or find out because I am not a man.
