and of course Queen Isabella who sponsored the Inquisition was given title of DEFENDER OF THE FAITH by the Pope IIRC
My grandfather and great grandfather were both Freemasons, and my great grandfather had Communist ties too... I am not sure if he was a true Communist though, because he was from Yugoslavia and he died before I was born.

    Prerequisits to be a Mason:

    * You must be a man of at least 21 years of age.
    * You must be of good moral character and have 3 people willing to vouch for this character.
    * You must believe in a surpreme being, a deity, not that the fraternity is a religion but that you have a steadfast belief in your faith.

My lodge has 2 Jews, a majority of Christians (Catholics and Protestants by the way) 1 Hindu. Not sure about the rest actually but there is NO Christianity requirement. Please don't talk out of school if you don't 100% know or are a mason. This is exactly what gives Masons a bad name when misinformation and bad information are relegated as fact by those who do not know.
Are there any women in your lodge? I always heard women can't join, but the pre regs didn't mention you had to be a man...

Saying Freemasonry has nothing to do with Christianity is like saying the Moose Lodge or the Rotary Club has nothing to do with Christianity. Of course it doesn't -- it's not a religion! Most Freemasons are Christians, but one has little to do with the other -- at least if you dwell in reality and don't embrace the idiotic claims about the Freemasons being a front for the Illuminati, which is either made up of Satanists or reptilian aliens, depending on which nutjob you listen to. Christians and conservatives don't approve of violence? Who was behind the Inquisition and the Crusades and witch burnings? Freemasons? Shriners? The Friars Club? Who dragged America to war in the middle east on the basis of lies? Liberals? Independents? In order to believe that Christians and conservatives don't approve of violence, you have to be completely untethered from reality.

Women are not formally part of the lodge, some are members of the Eastern Star, which are usually wives and or female members of masons, though I've never been to one of their meetings. The Eastern Star you can be a man or woman whereas (at least in my lodge) freemasons can only be male.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

21 years, I think, is the max he'll receive.

feel free to move there. and the richest europeans spend a lot of time here. I don't know any millionaires who spend a lot of time in say Estonia, or Bulgaria or Norway.
