Poll: Debt ceiling deal should include cuts and tax increases

Stawman....... post a link of anyone denying they inherited the original small company from their father.

That was not the point of my post and you know it. You claimed that Koch was somehow in bed with Stalin. In actuality, as I've proven, he hated him.

Your concession is noted.

It's in the link YOU posted. Did you read it all? Or did you stop once you got something you thought was useful?

And Koch didn't hate Stalin until AFTER Stalin started turning on the engineers. Before that, Koch loved him his Stalin

Yes, when the govt buys stuff, the are distorting the market by increasing demand for that product, which increases the price for that product. The seller makes more money on what it sells to the govt *and* receives more money for the same product when it sell to buyers other than the govt. It's basically a price support mechanism, not a free market one.

Ahhh, got it. You believe the government should never buy anything.

Let me know how that works when the interstate highway in your area falls apart and the feds can't fix it.

Let me know how that works when the federal courthouse in your area starts falling down and the government can't fix it.

Let me know how it works when mothers with children can't feed them because you don't want the government to buy food to hand out to them.

You are making a bigger fool of yourself with every post.

Really??? Where exactly does it say that Koch "loved" Stalin until the engineers were purged ???

I'll be waiting.

Another straw man. Regardless of my opinion on the govts role in the economy, the FACT remains that the Kochs are the recipients of large amounts of govt handouts, and they got their start through an inheritance, which shows that their wealth is not the product of their hard work. Maybe you've forgotten that was the point I was making in your eagerness to defend the Kochs

It takes two to make a business transaction. And as I said before, you are once again creating a straw man. It doesn't matter who is at fault. It still shows that the Kochs are the recipients of govt largesse.

And now, you have added another straw man that I support all govt activities. That makes five straw men

You lie. I never said that you support all government activities. You are going from silly to ridiculous.

In one of the lnks I posted.

That's funny. You posted that it was in the link I posted. You even capitalized "YOU".

Reading comprehension problem acting up again ??

So now you are withdrawing your claim that all government purchases are handouts ???

You must be a liberal since you flip flop so much.

That is clearly what you implied, And while you're doing that, Gill is suggesting I think the govt should not buy anything. :lamo

I am surprised that a big government person, such as yourself, would want to blame the government so much.

Even if I were a "big govt person", I see no reason why you think I would support these handouts unless you think I support anything the govt does

And again, you misconstrue the argument in order to disagree. Regardless of whose fault it is, the fact remains that their wealth is the result of govt handouts, and not their hard work

That makes three times. Will you ever address the point I'm actually making, or will you continue with the straw men?

Your "point" is so silly that refuting comes from your own postings.

No I didn't. Read what you asked me again. You asked two different questions. One was about being in bed with stalin. The other was being in love with stalin.

I didn't say that. Do you have anything besides straw men to post?

And you can argue about this one handout all you want. I have posted plenty of examples of them receiving handouts, and you haven't even tried to refute them. I have proven that the kochs receive govt handouts. You're just quibbling now about one handout

NO, you've proven that Koch receives government contracts for goods and services, like millions of other companies do.

Right!

Lots of wealthy people have made their money through corps that receive govt handouts.

Thanks for agreeing with me

I have posted many examples of the Kochs receiving govt handouts. You can only argue about one. Obviously, even you can't refute the other examples, so just as obviously, my claim is true

I try not to waste my time. When I check a person's sources and the very first one I check disproves that person's argument, I see no need to continue with more nonsense. Next time you attempt to make an argument, you should provide links that actually prove your argument and make an argument that has validity in the first place. Your petty biases are not valid arguments.

I will let you continue this nonsense with others. I have already wasted far too much time.

I try not to waste my time.

So instead, you wasted your time arguing about one examples, and just gave up on the others? I don't believe you. You obviously thought you could score points by attacking one, and then implying the others were just as wrong. If you truly and sincerely didn't want to waste your time, you wouldnt have responded at all

And here you go confirming what I just said. You think if the first one is wrong, they must be all wrong.

And I have proven that the Koch receive govt handouts. Even you and Gill agreed that they receive govt handouts. Which makes me wonder why you're arguing with me when we all agree that the Kochs receive govt handouts

I will let you continue this nonsense with others. I have already wasted far too much time.

I accept your surrender

I think we would be better off with a smaller more efficient govt.
Great. Let's get rid of every extra-constitutional department. Let's not make hem smaller. Let's not pretend that they will ever be efficient. Let's just get rid of them. Completely.
It would be great if we had a country that business needed no oversight. However, some companies have shown not to be responsible. Are there no courts any longer? Do you think that every business needs a government minder?

Yeah, let's ignore the Nobel Prize winner and focus on what the Koch Brothers and ALEC thinks
You want to talk about the one term Marxist Nobel-prize-winning-for-all-he-did-in-His-first-twelve-days-in-office president Obama?

Not everyone I spend my time with is employed, or still has their home, or sees definition of a recession as relevant. What they see is how they can buy enough food and keep a roof over their heads. Tell me again how people just need to be more educated about the accuracy and definition of spending on an empty stomach... do tell.

I saw a great bumper sticker today. It said, "over a million people attended the Obama inauguration. Only fourteen of them missed work to be there."

Its about time this silly side show was put to rest so the government can once again focus on our biggest problem, jobs!!! :sun
Our biggest problem is the one term Marxist president Obama.
