“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
I'm not happy with the way the Republicans have handled this because they have been way too damn nice to Obama on the issue.
Obama goes out and plays golf and campaigns for weeks then comes on TV and claims he's been hard at work on it.
It's just more damn lies. Now just yesterday he makes a speech pointing fingers and telling more lies, making ultimatums and says in his little set of lies he's not going to do what he just did, and the Republicans don't call him on it.
Damn right I'm not happy with how they are handling things but mostly because i think they don't because they are afraid to be called Tea Party members if they do point out Obama's Lies.
ANYONE who thinks Obama is interested in stimulating America's capitalist economy is delusional. Obama's over-arching objective is to bankrupt America, and force it into Socialism, for purposes of shere survival as a nation. NEVER TRUST OBAMA. He's a devout Marxist, doing in his level-best to crash our economy.
