Cain: Tenn. Mosque Infringes on Religious Freedom

Herman Cain is wrong on this. The first amendment to the US Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" its plain English. It applies to all religions including evil death cults such as Islam.

1. Cain is a fool and digging himself deeper
2. What in the world makes you think that just because something is unconstitutional, that our noble philosopher-kings will not put it into law?

What makes you think that "our noble philosopher-kings" have any desire to instate sharia law?

Or Judaism!
I mean, they have such similarly arbitrary rules with draconian punishment. No shellfish, no clothes of two different threads. Work on sabbath = death. Homosexuality = death. Says right their in their book! Clearly, all Jews must support making these rules law of the US.

People worshipping the God of their choice is such an infringement of religious freedom.

And if one people worship a Religion which demand to kill adepts of all other ones? It's fine for you, sure?

Whats the big deal? They should of COURSE let them build mosques. Having spent 4 years in the middle east I am sure there is no one that will object to the regular calls to prayer and that everyone will appreciate their brand of tolerance. Party on. They should build several mosques in every major city in the country.

It makes me sick for people to be soo jocked up of fear over any form of worship place being built...

I totally agree...Allahu Ahkbar, baby...

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.
He who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither.
Those who would trade in their freedom for their protection deserve neither.
Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security.

people worship Gods, not religions.

But some religions e.g. like a of Peace and Tolerance want to abolish all other religions and to kill their believers.

I generally put fiscal policies ahead of social, but Cain has hitched his wagon to the islamophobes. Hopefully he'll turn around before it is too late.

I haven't had a chance to put on my new bumper sticker.

no such religion exists today. Not even the most extremist Muslims seek to kill all non-Muslims.

yes, some megachurches are indeed a University of Bigotry & Hate.

I am a member of one, what do you have against Megachurches and the Holy Bible ( KJV)?

Not sure your point but Im jn complete agreement. Im not even concerned about those of the liberal mndset that only support an expansion of muslim mosques because it is in opposition to Christian types. I say let em build. Yu get used to the prayer calls over the loudspeakers and their famous for their tolerance of alternative lifestyles.

How are they any different than that which you rally against? Watch Jesus Camp. Those megachurches are a good scam though...wish I came up with it.

I'm far more worried about a bunch of right wing christian fanatics trying implement Mosaic Law than I am Muslims trying to implement Sharai Law. When you have two GOP candidates saying God told them to run for president then I start worrying about theocracy, but it will come from Christianity not Islam.

I would like to allow a mosque to be built in the USA for every church or synagogue being built in Saudi Arabia. However we are a tolerant people with a constitution that guarantees religious freedom. Unlike the intolerant islamic countries of the world where christians and jews are persecuted.

Yes, America should definitely be more like Saudi Arabia when it comes to religious freedom. That's exactly the ****ing benchmark we should use.

You're kinda like the people who forward that dumbass email talking about how you can cross the North Korea border illegally and get hard labor for life but if you cross the US border illegally you get a free ride. (which isn't true but that's beside the point) My usual response is "so in what other ways do you think we should be like North Korea?"

So, I'll pose that question to you. How else should America be more like Saudi Arabia?
