    I agree with this assessment.

Both liberals and conservatives complain that Obama isnít being true to his campaign promises, but New York Times columnist David Brooks argues pretty convincingly that Obama campaigned as a center left pragmatic reformer and thatís pretty much what he is. Not that he is carrying out every campaign promise, but anyone who was paying attention got what they voted for. He is not an ideologue; he is clearly willing to compromise to get things done. And he believes that though government should act to solve problems, he doesnít like to interfere with market dynamics unless theyíre not working.

    Obama as a Centrist. Really

Oh you just have to love the classic "If you don't like it, move" attitude. Right up there with the "Real American" argument.

Since you don't like how Obama is working, move!

    See how that works?

Sing it from every liberal mounaintop........the biggest road block to Liberalism is no more.

Bush and Cheney already shredded it. Were you whining then?
Well if Bush and Cheney did it.....obviously HusSame is going to do it.......but with great liberal rejoice this time.

Guess how many times the word "God" appears in the Constitution by the way. I'll give you a big fat clue. It's equal to the amount of credence in your comments.
So at least you agree they were gun toting radical right wingers.......and they would despise the Democrat party of today.

For all your "respect" for the Founders you know nothing about them. They had the same arguments then about the power of government that we are today. The Constitution itself is a compromise document. The partisan rhetoric was worse than it is now -- remember how Alexander Hamilton died? He was shot by the sitting Vice-President in a duel! Jefferson's hatred of Hamilton was strong enough that he hired someone with no foreign language skills as a State Department translator so that he could eventually install him as the editor of an anti-Federalist newspaper (So much for unbiased media. Never existed, and never will).

Try learning some history to go with your partisan hackery. It might do you some good.

That's such a sleazy attempt at insult by using Obama's middle name. Right out of the RW radio handbook. Rather pathetic.

History points to the fact they were gun toting radical right wingers.........

Even in your denial you go right to Hamilton.......which only gives creedence to the fact.....for that is where Liberal's belief in the forefathers and founders begins and ends.

If by socialism you mean the SS and Medicare programs supported by our forefathers under both parties for the last 80 years, it has worked very well with democracy in this country. In fact those programs helped create the strongest middle class in our history!
