Probably because there were no witnesses and it's only hearsay. By the same token, Bradley could be lieing her ass off.

It's not illegal to show one's ass. If it were, most of the Democrats in the country would have already been charged with a crime.

Well, you already have Prosser convicted, after reading one article on the internet. Is this the Libbos version of due process?

Not really seeing any "wagons closing". If Prosser assaulted Judge Bradly he should be held accountable. And from Bradly's reputation, one would expect she would not shy away from filing charges if appropriate.

What seems more to be the case here is that the Left is so obsessed with any opportunity to proclaim guilt on Prosser that waiting for facts isn't necessary. Monday there will be an official statement released. Doesn't seem too unreasonable to me to wait for all the facts to surface. How 'bout you.....??

There were witnesses. In fact, Prosser appears to have flown off the deep end...again... in front oft he entire judiciary since the incident took place during a meeting.

Well, let's see... Cheney got drunk and shot some guy in the face on a canned hunt.
Cheney's office outed an entire CIA operation as revenge against "bad press".
Cheney was receiving paychecks from Haliburton while he was the Veep. Haliburton got the lion's share of no-bid contracts when Bush & Cheney decided to invade Iraq.
    Etc.

There will always be conjecture in situations like this. Prosser has a history of flying off the handle so, from an outsider's viewpoint, such an attack would fit with his mistempered personality.

I didn't know that Prosser was Dick Cheney in disguise. That explains everything.

Let's just start with this one. Do you mean V. Plame? If so why the lie? Everyone knows now that it was the liberal press' darling, Colin Powell's State Department's R. Armitage who told the secret.

In their book Hubris Isikoff and Corn reveal — as both Armitage and syndicated columnist Robert Novak acknowledged publicly later — that Armitage was Novak's "initial" and "primary source" for Novak's July 2003 column that revealed Plame's identity as a CIA operative and that after Novak revealed his "primary source" (Novak's phrase) was a "senior administration official" who was "not a partisan gunslinger," Armitage phoned Colin Powell that morning and was "in deep distress." Reportedly, Armitage told Powell: "I'm sure [Novak is] talking about me."

It seems my observation went miles over your head.

The wagons close circle to protect one of their own. The war on the working class needs warriors and if they pillage and rape occasionally, that is the price of war.

My comment was in regards to folks right here from the far right closing ranks and finding any excuse, reason or fiction to excuse Prosser. And now you prove my point in spades. Thank you.

And as far as your own post that there were no witnesses - you need to polish up on your reading skills. Go back and read the NY Times article again. There were plenty of witnesses.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers
