You're really going to start that **** again, why do you come here? I mean honestly? It certainly isn't to have honest debate (most of the time anyway).

    What?

I'm just agreeing with Barbarian, that we need to cut off the handouts.

How long did that operation take?

And who cares what the UNGA says?

This is true and about time we tend to our own business and keep our nose out of that of others. Can we do that? I don't know. We've been doing it so long we're beginning to believe we're the Kingpin country of the world. We're under the illusion that countries that have been around for centuries should just stop and do what we tell them to, and being the baby on the block just doesn't cut it with most of them.... Go figure.

I have various views on this but I'll start here. Typical cowardly move on the part of Congress. If you believe this was done improperly, the first vote would have been correct. If those are your views, the second vote is saying that you do not actually believe what you said in the first vote.

Well, to be fair, you've taken some shots in this thread yourself, Jet. Adpst has said nothing about about Canada that was any more inflammatory, in fact less so (in my opinion), than your posts about the US.

Think of how much better shape our country would be in if we helped our own citizens rather than other countries.

We could begin doing that by pulling out of the UN.
