Wisconsin Unions Disrupt Special Olympics Ceremony

When I lived there if you went to work for a company that had a union when your probation period was up you automatically were in the union and dues were taken from your pay.
Im still waiting on your source....
You seemed to be over confident that these people were Union now your backing away.

The problem here is not if its unions but just the disgusting display of disrespect to the mentally handicapped. Those here defending this show they care nothing about people who can not defend themselves

How was this at all disrespectful?
Walker took the stage, people dressed up as zombies moved in stood in the front, a couple of them did the ol fist in the air, the people dressed up as zombies did not say a single word did not cause in havoc, Walker left the stage, the zombies left from the front row and left the area. Sooo tell me how is that disrespectful?

:rofl - you're kidding, right?

They dressed up like zombies and formed a line in front of the special needs kids and their families.

:rofl Because THAT is highly RESPECTFUL.

If it happened at any other event it would ALSO be disrespectful. In fact - because it happened at the Special Needs kickoff ceremony it's even MORE disrespectful.

Completely understandable. I like our present public school district eventhough we've had issues - but when it come to my oldest son's schooling - I feel like there's just not enough that they're doing in that regard - I'm home-schooling him partially to keep him on top of things.

Just had a mtg with the middle school team that is overseeing my 10 yr olds education next year in 6th grade (via his IEP). They bent over backwards to ensure that everything we could think of to help him maintian the advances he made this year are continued and expanded in his new school. I met all his teachers, and I am very pleased with their attitudes, They seem to be very interested in making sure he suceeds.

Public school.

They are part of a school. The school has a union so yes they are influenced by the unions and the liberal professors that belong to the union.

Lets see you are at an event and me and my friends come stand in front of you so you can not see. Is that disrespectful?

Soooo sense i went to a public school the teachers shoved their union agenda down my neck?
---Cuz that didnt happen a single time to me---

Lets see you are at an event and me and my friends come stand in front of you so you can not see. Is that disrespectful?
Lets see there was an elevated stage...... So you can see....

:rofl - you're kidding, right?
No.

They dressed up like zombies and formed a line in front of the special needs kids and their families.
The families and people who attended the event even said they felt no disrespect was done!
They protested the Governor not the event itself!
Once the Governor left stage they left!

:rofl Because THAT is highly RESPECTFUL.

No they weren't, you just had no answer to support your agenda here

You had no specific questions to answer. All you have is your vague and shadowy attacks on honest working people.

An elevated stage means nothing they purposely tried to obstruct the special olympics people

So they tried to ruin the even are you saying they tried to ruin the event?

here are our vague questions for #255

Are they protesting because of a union issue? If they are not involved with the unions why would they do it?

Just exactly who are the three THEYS in your post?

In my opinion they did ruin it for special olympics. Shows scumbags the liberals and democrat party are

This is pretty dumb. Here... let me point out what REALLY happened and how it needs to be assessed. Perhaps this will shut down the partisan hackery I see from BOTH sides on this thread.

1) The protesters were protesting Walker, NOT the Special Olympics. Any accusation opposite of that is idiotic partisan hackery.
2) Just because they were allowed to do this, under the law, doesn't mean that this was an OK thing to do. It wasn't and WAS disrespectful to those participating. There is a time and a place for things, and this wasn't it. Any accusation opposite of that and using the 1st Amendment to defend the morality of doing this is idiotic partisan hackery.

There. That about sums it up. Let's see which people fall into one of these two categories.

Good. ptif219 falls into category #1. It was about Walker... not about the Special Olympics.

Who is this thread about DUH?

In your mind? Tell us who is it about? And who are the three THEYS in your post?

Why are you afraid to come out and say what you believe?

Read the article.
Lets go over your bat**** crazy article shall we.

"Jesus is banned, but Allah is okay."
--No, no religion is banned per say you just cant be forced to pray. You can pray on your own time and what not.
"Teachings about labor unions"
--Oh my god we are learning about labor unions!!:scared: Whats wrong about learning about labor unions? They do have a huge party in American history...
"and a 150 year old unproven theory is taught as fact"
--When i was in biology and had to learn about the dreadful awful "evolution" i was told that "hey i teach evolution because its the closest thing we have to factual interpretation on how species arrived here."
"children are taught to sing praises about "Barack Hussein Obama, Mmm mmm mmm."
--This was one dumb ass teachers fault...
"they are trying to remove GOD from the Pledge of Allegiance."
--Who is "they". The article says "they" as if its schools. Its actually some democrat and liberal organizations trying to be politically correct and remove the word GOD, even tho "Under GOD" wasnt added to the pledge until way after the pledge was already made. But in my book i dont think you should have to say the pledge of allegence to some flag at school i think thats just dumb and uber nationalistic.

This whole article is awful, its pretty much saying sense we are being taught about the hard fact that people are gay, and that we are learning about labor unions in school this is proof that we are being indoctrinated to the liberal evil agenda.

Your sarcasm is not clever or funny
cool.

Well people at the event would like to beg to differ.

let me make sure i understand you....the kids go to school, the teachers of that school are unionized, ergo, the students are unionized.....weak logic, verrrrrrry weak.
