DNC Chair: GOP wants to "Drag Us Back To Jim Crow Laws"

Yet more proof that libs will literally vote for a farm animal.

Very typical... are you guys going to address my post about how she has a point regarding republicans' attempts to disenfranchise certain people, or are you just going to blow it off and rail against liberals?

your point is that any attempts at preventing voter fraud is jim crow in secrecy.

I'm not going to address that form of bigotry, instead, I will simply hope that you grow up some day.

Stopping voting at universities is a way to prevent voter fraud? Really?

how is it a form of jim crow when it has nothing to do with race?

... please re-read my post. I said nothing about this actually being Jim crow laws. I brought up a serious point that the GOP is attempting to disenfranchise people that are generally not poised to vote for them.

you claimed she had a point

this actually does have some merit.

I'm quite sure that democrats benefit the most from voter fraud, but I see no reason to try to link efforts to stave off fraud as reminiscent of jim crow. Anybody that defends her idiocy is an idiot themselves.

what 'specifically' are the Republicans doing to disenfranchise 'certain people', and 'specifically' who are those 'certain people'?

I find it interesting the DNC Chair would bring up Jim Crow. Dems have a negative history in race relations.

As for the what she was saying, I don't understand how presenting photo ID will prevent anyone eligible to vote from voting. Some states give drivers licenses for free if you can't afford them. Am I missing something, or is the presentation of photo ID what initiated her comment?

I find it funny that nearly everyone even in poor communities have cell phones but they cant afford a one time per 10 years or so purchase of $10 for a photo ID from the DMV.

OP-Eds have citations regardless, especially in the Washington Post. You can't just make something up and get your story printed in big time newspapers. You can find exactly what I said by googling it and reading it on another website if you'd like. This is a serious issue.

yes, voter fraud is very serious

So disenfranchising college students is a good way to fight that?

yes. If college kids can't fill out an absentee ballot, or get proper id to vote in person, then they need to accept that their lack of voting is their own responsibility.

This OP-Ed's citations are links to OTHER op-eds... like a Latino Interest website.

I find it funny that we expect our military to do absentee ballots but not college students............

many democrats oppose our policy of support for Israel.

obviously Democrats are working with Hamas to recreate the Holocaust.

Instead of addressing my points, you guys are blowing what I'm saying out of the window and accusing me of actually saying they want to re institute Jim Crow. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the issue is there is voter disenfranchisement going on here, and it needs to stop.

The issue of military using absentee ballots is a different situation. Totally different.

About half of the population, doesn't pay income tax. GE didn't pay taxes. Tons of organizations, business, individuals -- are tax exempt.

Psst. There are other taxes.

Psst. There are other taxes.

Yes, but they are essentially constant for all. The ability of politicians to manipulate income taxes, especially Democrats to continue to foment class envy and buy votes, is the overwhelmingly obvious issue with regard to tax carrots and sticks.

Why do you keep putting such absurd red herrings out there when the issue is so obvious even a caveman, and a liberal, should be able to see it ?
