    Huntsman Bags Big Bundlers

Huntsman Bags Some Big Bundlers - Washington Wire - WSJ

A list of prominent Huntsman bundlers obtained by Washington Wire includes Georgette Mosbacher, a former Republican National Committee finance co-chairman, and John Mack, the Morgan Stanley chairman who was a big backer of President George W. Bush in 2004 but then switched parties to support Ms. Clinton in 2008.

I can't wat to see nim in action and what he believes in.

I hope that all those who are running or will run do something Ronald Reagan was credited as saying. Speak no ill of your fellow Republicans, but in many cases that is already in the toilet.

Huntsman is running and I am glad-He will take votes from Romney. It will be interesting to see those big money machines go at it.

This guy is a moderate though and not who we need as the nominee.

I asked why we don't need a moderate and you answered "...because he is a moderate."

Doesn't really shed much light on the situation, does it?

I thought you were asking why he shouldn't be the nominee

We don't need a moderate because we went that route last time and it didn't work out. I believe there needs to be a clear difference between what the candidates stand for.

The route we went last time was sticking a man who the party establishment had no love for into the position of "fall guy" for George Bush's unpopularity. No Republican could have been seen as a moderate in 2008, because he was standing in the shadow of the previous president. McCain's "moderation" had nothing to do with his loss.

In fact, his moderation is probably what kept the race as close as it was. If a man like Herman Cain had won the primary, the Obama's victory would have been much more lopsided.
