Yeah, they have been flooding my state (California) because we treat them better than we treat legal citizens.

Good news for my state. Even though it is Napolitano's law originally, it does set some precedence for our next battle-- AZ SB1070. Go, AZ!!

What is your take on Napolitano? She seems to be very opposed to such laws now that she is an Obama appointee.

I just get the feeling that she regrets having signed that law now. Has she changed a lot from when she was Gov. of AZ?

I'm new here, not sure of the rules yet...let me say I can't stand Jan Nap. At one point she DID allow troops on the border during Bush, for a short while, and it helped. AZ is much happier with Brewer, if you talk majorities. One of my fav things about Obama is that he took Jan Nap. out of AZ. We are grateful for that, and it scares me that she is in her current position. I think it is all part of this NAU thing. That is about the only excuse I can come up with for the way the Feds handle the borders. Not knowing the rules here, I had better stop now. Also-- better go find the COC.....

It is a sad day when the States have enforce Federal law because those in charge refuse ti do it.

Obama took an oath of office that says he will protect and defend the Constitution and he has on more than one occasion violated the oath .

As a former office holder I have taken an oath and I will never violate it Obama is in violation of Article 4 Section of the Constitution.

This alone is cause for impeachment.

Terrible when a state gets sued by her own country for trying to enforce the laws of the land. And-- thank you for your service to the country, sir.

Excellent news. I fully support this.

There seems to be a lot of Obama-hate here, as if he is the mastermind behind hiring illegals.

The law is a great idea, but instead of cracking down on the president, you should crack down on the actual source of the problem which is business and industry. They are the ones hiring illegals because they don't want to hire you. You are expensive and come with a sense of entitlement which is your right to an extent, but if they can pay him less than they are going to say F you.

What I think will happen is if they actually do pass a federal law that says hiring aliens is illegal, these businesses will simply outsource outside the border and the only jobs you'll gain is shipping them to and fro.

What makes our Nation special is our respect for the laws of the land.

Obama has failed to obey the laws in so many issues it hard to lidt them all.
