Should we chastize them for making thier own language?
The scientists who created the robots should be.

I bet those robots are making fun of your irrational fear of technology right now.
Right you are. Despite what we see in the Terminator movies, robots will never be able to do anything without a program that gives them instructions. Even AI is nothing more than a program. Programs are written by humans. So maybe robots should worship humans as Gods, but they could only do that if a program was written for them to do so, and they would never comprehend the meaning either. Whether bowing before us in apparent prayer, or playing a game of chess, it's all in an algorithm developed by a human, not in any kind of a sentient consciousness.
I agree that a computer will never be able to do something that it hasn't been programmed to do. The issue however is the notion that all of a computers actions won't be what it was originally coded to do.
If we can develop AI that can understand things to a point that it can essentially program its own code, then we'll have something that theoritically is doing what we programmed it to do (adapt as needed by programming its own code) but could do things the original programming wasn't intended to do (whatever it programs itself to do).
One step closer to this
