I would genuinely love to see this issue hashed out posthaste. I think that impeachment would be a lovely way to do so. We're a little busy at the moment, but this is also a very pressing national matter with long-ranging implications for generations yet to come.
    I may be wrong.

I agree with impeachment. You just cannot fix stupid. So the one term president Obama has got to go.

I am not saying anything other than I think impeachment is the appropriate place to settle the matter. I am not advocating that we make Biden the PotUS.

Also, Iw ould like to see the WPA all but scrapped.

they're not deliberating in the house, they're voting

    indeed, they've voted, past tense

the white house really pushed for this authorization

House rejects Obama's Libya policy - Jonathan Allen and Seung Min Kim - POLITICO.com

hillary met with the caucus yesterday, and this morning donilon summoned progressive leaders to the situation room for a 7 am session

donilon is the national security adviser whose promotion, upon the retirement of james jones, defense secretary gates considered "a disaster," according to bob woodward

donilon is presumably one of the politcos surrounding the president whom jones referred so famously to as "water bugs"

Why bother to impeach if you do not intend to remove the offender?

As I noted in the section you quoted and responded to, "I think impeachment is the appropriate place to settle the matter."

I don't particularly "intend" anything in re Obama's continuing in the WH. I think that the matter needs to be settled. Idc where the chips fall. I have no love for a Biden presidency and I do not advocate it even though I realize that it is a possible result.

To me, it's more about the law than about the man.

Were President Obama impeached, he still remains the President. It would take 67 senators to vote for conviction to full remove him from office, and I think we can both agree that there are nowhere near the votes necessary for that.

True enough... the democrats in the Senate who are angry at the usurpation of executive powers would not vote to remove one of their own...
