If you haven’t seen it yet, you need to spend more time on the Internets! Grady Warren’s latest video — in which he calls upon the Tea Party to engage in “Tea-had”, refers to black people as “nigras”, and declares that all Muslims must be deported — is getting plenty of attention. Liberal bloggers are holding Warren up as a shining example of the vile bigotry of the Tea Party.
Top of the heap of self-righteous gullibility, David Neiwert of crooksandliars.com howls:
The next time your Tea Partying/Breitbart-reading brother-in-law challenges you to demonstrate evidence of racism in the Tea Parties, direct them to Grady Warren’s videos.
Warren is a sport-fishing promoter in Florida who runs a site called “Conservative Sportsmen” that seems now to have become the launching pad for Warren’s presidential ambitions. As you can see, he’s already declared.
His platform: Deport all Muslims. Deport all “illegal aliens.” Force blacks into “re-education camps”. Bring all liberals “to justice.” And deny nonwhites the right to vote.
Is Grady Warren a big-time Tea Party leader, who speaks for the growing percentage of Americans who identify with the Tea Party? Nope.
Should you, as Neiwert smugly recommends, direct your “Tea Partying/Breitbart-reading brother-in-law” to Warren’s videos to prove racism exists in the Tea Party? Not unless you enjoy being laughed at.
Is confirmation bias a flaw only of those gullible readers of WorldNetDaily? Apparently not.
Didn’t an almost identical confirmation bias scenario play out just this past August? Why, yes.
The real question on my mind . . .
What’s this asinine angler’s angle this time?
1. Make video portraying Tea Party as virulently racist.
