I get the feeling that if this guy Kahn weren't in line with liberal, even Socialist views, say more Conservative ideals, you same people would be roasting his remains by now wondering why he wasn't publicly executed. And the victim would be all the rage being a black woman. Hell, we could probably get Jessie out again offering a scholarship for that reason alone.

Show me where I bit on that hook. This goes all the way back to the stupid girl who scratched a backwards B on her face and even back to the girl who cried rape and was defended by AlSharpton.

Once again you jump in and try to make this partisan. It is all partisan to you. When I grew up in the 50's we just didn't have this much partisan BS but I think with the 24/7 airplay of partisan crap by the likes of Rush Limbaugh so many Americans have those partisan blinders on constantly.

Since he did surrender to authorities, that should put him in the lead in the French presidential race.

    Innocent until proven guilty.

However, it always renews my faith in law enforcement sometimes when even the head of the planets money (in essense anyway) can be charged with a crime.
Hope the guy goes to prison. Also, as an aside, IMO the IMF is a horrid organization used for neocolonialism.

Hmmmm....Did I say that you did? NO, I asked a question, that obviously upset you, so maybe you did, maybe you didn't. I guess we won't know because instead of having a discussion about it, you got offended....telling.

It goes further than that I tell ya.

Once again you jump in and try to make this partisan.
Since this is a political forum, discussing political items of the day, I gave my view of the situation. got a problem with that, then may I suggest you find a forum where they discuss items that everyone can agree on, and not rile yourself so with politics.

If said rapist wasnt going to be pres of France this would have never been an issue.

Incorrect. It would still have been an issue because he is the head of the IMF.

Re: IMF head charged over alleged attempted rape

DSK is on Suicide watch (30 mins) at Rikers.
    It looks bad for him.
A 32 year old Guinea single-mother immigrant with good record.
With DSK's legal pricey legal staff- look for some Dirt to be thrown her way in any case.
Also now, a woman in France has come forward with similar incident. There's never just one.

Of course him 'running away' without his cell phone doesn't look good either.
Police apparently used the Hotel manager with said phone to find out where he was... About to take off.
Then they had him arrested/pulled off the plane minutes later.

    No forensics/corroboration yet though.

Which is why defense has claimed innocence but, tellingly, Not why he's innocent!
    "Not done"
    "Wasn't even there"
    "Consentual"

Yes, you are right this is Debate Politics but if you look at some of the forums you will find Non-Political Forums, Political Forums and In The News sub sections. Not everything is Conservative-Liberal.
In this particular case it doesn't matter what political lean he has or the maid. It is just that we have had previous front page rape/assault cases that proved to be fake.
So saying "innocent till proven guilty" is not partisan but based on the fact that many of us don't swallow the first news reporting.

As for the Duke case I didn't bite on the hook that many did believing the girls story. I felt uncomfortable with that story too.
Some of us don't wear partisan blinders.
