Yeah, I do too. It's ridiculous that failing to release the photos have spawned the "deather" movement.

Deathers would not be stopped by a fewphotos. They would hardly be a roadblock. Photos are about as useful against conspiracy theories as a longform birth certificate.

The Obama Freedom of Information Act debacle was studied by AP, Raw Story, and I found it in the LA Times blogs. This goes to show you most people, even lefties, like for you to mean what you say and say what you mean.

When analyzing the Obama Freedom of Information Act correlation, Ed Morrissey at Hot Air finds that Bush denied requests at a rate of 9.6% while Obama denies requests 15.9% of the time. Not only that, but there are 10% fewer requests by the press now than when Bush was in office.
Because everybody just knew Bush was hiding something; it’s a different story all together now, Obama told us he would be transparent so obviously he is.

Terrorists have been trying to kill Americans for a couple of decades now and photos of one of their dead leaders won't make a any difference one way or the other. In fact it could work as a deterrent, suggesting that the same fate waits for them as well.

I'd be defending my fellow Americans and their right to freedom of information, transparency if you will, rather than trying to appease some scum bag terrorists. You start down that road to appeasement and it won't end.

I don't understand half of this comment. But as far as the other half, it's about safety not "hiding" something.
 
Obama was for releasing the pictures before he was against it

typical lefty attitude that the "children" cannot handle stuff so the "grownups" have to keep it from them

Are people really that obsessed with seeing a dead person? OBL is dead. Why can't people take comfort in that fact? The partisan hacks who are behind this are just as predictable as the morons who were freaking out about the birth certificate. They harped on about it until they got it and then they weren't pleased with what they got so they harped on some more. It is impossible to please people like this.

To flame the fans of hate some more and keep the conservatives movements relevance on the international stage. Conservatives thrive on conflict and "enemies", and showing these pictures will do nothing but flame the hatred towards the US and hence justifying the conservative movements policies and meaning that any GOP presidential candidate can run on the only thing that people still some what trust conservatives on.... national security.
