In the Army I belong to, there are no gays, women, blacks, spicks, niggers, faggots, bitches, hommies, minorities of any kind, or class.

There are only Soldiers.

There is only green.

There are only battle buddies.

If you don't have an authorized insignia of some kind on your uniform to represent it, then it doesn't make you any different, better or worse, then the Solder standing next to you.

So far as I know, there is no gay ribbon. There is no SSM patch. I've seen gay men bleed and the color of our blood is the same. Maybe there are all these extraterrestrial beings in your civilian world, but not in the military.

You cant have "SOME" military chaplains performing SSM and others not, so this idea that if a chaplain "wants to" he should be allowed is preposterous....its the military and the military has to be uniform.
Its absurd that the navy even considered it...it has to be uniform with all branchs doing the same thing...Morale is pertinent in the military and the best way to drag down morale is to break down military uniformity.
