Re: U.S. Navy reverses decision to allow same-sex marriages by chaplains at military
Spoken like a true civilian.
In the Army I belong to, there are no gays, women, blacks, spicks, niggers, faggots, bitches, hommies, minorities of any kind, or class.
There are only Soldiers.
There is only green.
There are only battle buddies.
If you don't have an authorized insignia of some kind on your uniform to represent it, then it doesn't make you any different, better or worse, then the Solder standing next to you.
So far as I know, there is no gay ribbon. There is no SSM patch. I've seen gay men bleed and the color of our blood is the same. Maybe there are all these extraterrestrial beings in your civilian world, but not in the military.
Because there are gay, servicemen, and women, and they should be able to have a religious military ceremony if they want to, and the chaplain is willing.
