The Ankara ferry sailed from Turkey’s Aegean city of İzmir to Misrata and waited for three days off the coast due to bombing by forces loyal to Gadhafi. On the fourth day, the Turkish government warned the Libyan regime to declare a cease-fire so it could evacuate the wounded, according to sources familiar to the process.
