depends on the design. when you get into stealth and push-the-envelope technology, the small changes matter quite alot. Lots of people in the 80's were aware that a mixture of the right curves and / or flat edges could reduce your radar signature - but it wasn't until we started releasing our stealth aircraft images that anyone knew how we had made it aerodynamic enough to carry bombs. I still think design matters.

Hopefully the Afghans wont reverse engineer it and then invade the world.

Osama Bin Laden Raid: Pakistan Hints China Wants a Peek at Secret Helicopter - ABC News

This is serious business. They should have sent in another drone to blowup the tailboom.

Bitches be jealous we got the shiny new bling-bling.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

F-16s were near by for any issues. The firepower was there. As a matter of fact....no firepower option was off the table in this mission
