Design is important, but it can be copied from pictures, materials cant, neither electronics

depends on the design. when you get into stealth and push-the-envelope technology, the small changes matter quite alot. Lots of people in the 80's were aware that a mixture of the right curves and / or flat edges could reduce your radar signature - but it wasn't until we started releasing our stealth aircraft images that anyone knew how we had made it aerodynamic enough to carry bombs. I still think design matters.
 
Hopefully the Afghans wont reverse engineer it and then invade the world.
