He released that gory photo? He shouldn't have done that. He just did it for political points. What a (insert insult here) to have done that. Is it really him? I don't believe that is Bin Laden. That photo was faked. He's just going to inflame the terrorists anyway. Who cares about the terrorists? I thought we were trying to win hearts and minds. Oh, no, this is war! Who cares what jihadis think? Well, I'm sure it's really Bin Laden. Oh, you're just gullible. You can see where it was faked.
and on and on. Not arguing with one another? That will not happen if the photo is released. It will happen when pigs fly, Hell freezes, and San Francisco votes Republican.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?
Trying to hide things away in an open society never works, and BHO has not yet learned that. His bungling of the story following the success of the Seals only highlights his incompetence..
the only real reason to release the photo would be as proof it was Bin Laden. Al Queda has already admittted it was him.
No real compelling reason to release the photo remains.
I think he is wise not to release the photo. That will give the birther's something new to whine about and keep them occupied and out of the way.

Diplomacy is the art of saying 'nice doggy" until you can find a gun.
- Colonel Paul YinglingNobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.
Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.
All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.
What difference would it make? There are terror threats all over the place right now. Check out Drudge today.
