however, to address your question; yes, actually, in a military conflict it is usually better to aggressively pursue the sorta-good plan that you have today than to wait and hope for better options to arrive tomorrow.
So apparently you had all the military intelligence that was available, such that you are able to make that determination? Wow...where did you get that level of high security clearance?

ASAP can mean as soon as it is reasonably and prudently possible to act. You can act ASAP without reacting momentarily.

That's exactly right. Military objectives are constantly changing. There's little, or no time to, "wait for a better option".

It can, but that's not what the Libbos would have us believe. Let's face it, Obama isn't the hero here, no matter how many times you say that he is.

I guess he isn't giving a speech at ground zero, but he is just going to lay a wreath.

    He's already covered that.

No one has said that he is...in fact, most of us have said that the vast majority of the credit goes to the men and women of the military.

Don't forget the CIA. Ultimately, they're the folks that gather this kind of intel. You know...the same CIA that Obama is trying to prosecute. In fact, you are praising the same SEAL team operators that are currently being court martialed for smacking around a couple of prisoners.

Exactly what I was wondering. Especially since I got my information from an article, giving specifics as to why he avoided taking the other (read: different) actions.

You are absolutely correct. If GWmushforbrains hadn't let OBL escape at Tora Bora, there would have been nothing to terminate.

Again. It is GWmushforbrains who authorized the torture, so guess who should be prosecuted, or he should crawl out of his hole and say, "they were only following orders."
