This statement shows nothing but your utter ignorance of reality when it comes to former President Bush. His declining to appear is far more in line with every single action he's taken since leaving office than it is some kind of sign of "GOP Advisors" telling him to do it. The only time the man's made somewhat of a buzz since leaving the Presidency was when his book came out, and even then he kept a relatively low profile, tried to stick to talking about his administration, and refused...even on extremely friendly locations such as the Rush Limbaugh show...from saying a negative word or bash towards Obama. Bush isn't going because of the same reason he's acted the way he has since leaving office...his time is done, he's stepping aside, its Obama's show now, and he doesn't want to be in the spotlight. He served his country, his time is done, someone new is doing it, and he feels its most respectful to Obama and to the American people to let things move forward as he steps out of the public eye gracefully and with class.

    From the AP:
And Bill O rielly, who has a history of being accurate, has had some very high up people saying that the first nugget of information that helped us find bin Laden was obtained from enhanced interrogations. Someone high up said it, and someone else corroborated the evidence. Bill very rarely gets this straightforward, but he said we can confirm, with 100% accuracy, that enhanced interrogations helped us to find Bin Laden.

You wank as high as any man in Wome!

Seriously...I stand all amazed. Good lord folks. Seriously?

    To the general populace...

Obama is President. He did his job and did it well. Kudos to all involved and props to the CiC. The people that insist on trying to give Bush credit for this or attack Bush over it...you show yourselves to be precisely what you are. Mindless partisan hacks.

it pisses me off......first, that cheney felt the need to bring this up, what a f*ckwad, and now that anyone is discussing it at all.

no need to attack bush. i'm sure he wanted osama as badly as anyone. no need to attack obama either, he ordered a politically dangerous operation.

I guess he has brush to clear...

I say send a Seal team to the ranch, pick W. up, and bring him to Manhattan.
Bush went there once, grabbed a bullhorn, and showed tremendous leadership. He unified the country with a few honest words.

    Obama's going for a photo-op and a campaign speech.

Such is the difference between these two men.

I dont have a problem with him going...it might provide closure to some of the families still suffering there. I cannot for the life of me understand why people feel the need to attack Bush for letting the president be the president. OK...thats not true. I CAN understand why some do that...they are partisan assholes.
