Re: President Obama Approval Rating: Boost From Osama Bin Laden Death Likely

i wasn't really saying anything, the story was pretty much telling itself

    it is what it is

if an assassination of an ubl is a good thing, then the wall slamming of a ksm can't be too bad

in other words, this get was made mostly possible by thousands of miles of legwork over many years done by our agents operating under policies obama tried but failed to strip

if you really wanna know what i think, i think his supporters care a lot more about these principles than he does

    thanks

Re: President Obama Approval Rating: Boost From Osama Bin Laden Death Likely

    today:

The public opinion boost President Obama received after the killing of Osama bin Laden has dissipated, and Americansí disapproval of how he is handling the nationís economy and the deficit has reached new highs, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

The survey portrays a broadly pessimistic mood in the country this spring as higher gasoline prices, sliding home values and a disappointing employment picture have raised fresh concerns about the pace of the economic recovery.

By 2 to 1, Americans say the country is pretty seriously on the wrong track, and nine in 10 continue to rate the economy in negative terms. Nearly six in 10 say the economy has not started to recover, regardless of what official statistics may say, and most of those who say it has improved rate the recovery as weak.

Overall, about six in 10 of those surveyed give Obama negative marks on the economy and the deficit. Significantly, nearly half strongly disapprove of his performance in these two crucial areas. Nearly two-thirds of political independents disapprove of the presidentís handling of the economy, including ó for the first time ó a slim majority who do so strongly.

But that was going to be his campaign slogan to secure another 4 years : "Vote Obama, the other loser did nothing to kill bin laden"

    today:

A new poll shows that President Barack Obama’s approval rating has plummeted to a new low as talks to raise the debt ceiling stalled and the president stayed out of the public eye after a Monday night speech through early Friday.

The president’s average approval rating on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday was 40 percent in Gallup’s daily tracking poll released on Friday. His approval rating averaged 46 percent in June, and was at about the same level for most of July.
