CORPORATE GREED AND UNION GREEDDEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANSDESTROYING THE BEST OF AMERICA ONE DAY AT A TIME
This is the worst kind of discrimination. The kind against ME! ~ Bender
- Colonel Paul YinglingNobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.
Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.
All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.
Part of me is pleased and honored that we took such a strategic and non incendiary approach to the disposal of his body.
The other part of me is bracing for the inevitable wave of conspiracy theories this will help flame. I'm sure we'll get plenty of proof as time goes by, but right now the tin foil hat wearers must be foaming at the mouth.
You can't reason somebody out of something they were never reasoned into in the first place.
I know you didn't make it, but I'm explaining how someone can not be a birther or a birther supporter and at this point find the joke to be wholey unfunny
"I am appalled that somebody who is the nominee...would take that kind of position"
"A court took away a presidency"
"...the brother of a man running for president was the governor of the state..."
It's horrifying because Trump is blunt instead of making overt implications.
Bunch of crapola follows the story that he arranged blowing up the World Trade Center, which he did not, and he said so. So in order to close the chapter, in order to silence the guy who knew who did it!
Why do we fall?
So we can learn to pick ourselves up.
