Can we all cut the partisanship on this? I don't want this thread closed.

What a stupid thing to believe.
He would not be nominate for dog catcher in today's republican party. He was far too liberal. If you want to believe otherwise, you fail to understand how far to the right the Republican party has tacked.

How about you put aside the partisan bull**** for once and just celebrate the death of a horrible human being. Is that too much to ask?
I have hard time with the fact W. left office before this was taken care of.

1 year from the day 9/11/2002 - Bin Ladens head should have been on a pole at the Port Authority bus terminal.

    W. and his boys had so many counter-productive agendas, the actual hunting of terrorists took a back seat. It sickened me to think of people jumping to their death from the WTC while Cheney Rummy and the gang took us to war in Iraq--based on lies.

That is how it is done? Glad to hear that you have no problem using drones and firing missiles into civilian areas of another sovereign nation. My how has liberalism changed.

It's ok, there are like 16 others.

Had to be partisan, didn't you? It took us 1 1/2 years AFTER 9/11 to go into Iraq or did you forget?

Seriously people? This is why we can't have nice things. We have a thread about the death of Osama bin Laden. The mastermind of of 9/11. And we have people here saying oh Obama will use this for political purposes or he should just blame Bush, or Obama did something Bush never did. You know what? STOP IT. I have friends over there serving and honestly I don't want to read about a political bitchfest right now. If you guys want to talk about the partisan uses of bin Laden's death than go make some thread in Partisan Platform.

Maybe you were living in cave the last decade, but it was Cheney and Rummy that got us into that mess.

Obama has been trying to get us out in a responsible manner.

I doubt it. Obama has to much other baggage. This will mean nothing if gas and unemployment are high and the economy is still in the tank
