House lawmakers voted overwhelmingly last night to strip police officers, teachers, and other municipal employees of most of their rights to bargain over health care, saying the change would save millions of dollars for financially strapped cities and towns.

The 111-to-42 vote followed tougher measures to broadly eliminate collective bargaining rights for public employees in Ohio, Wisconsin, and other states. But unlike those efforts, the push in Massachusetts was led by Democrats ...

Can everybody hear the crickets?

Where is the Liberal outrage, bunch of damned hypocrites.

You won't because Dem's pushed for it. They'll just ignore it.

Maybe the first three posters in this thread should actually read the article and then they might understand how it's not quite the same as Wis.

Might...

You're right. Wisconsin is a republican, Massachusetts a democrat. Other than that, limiting union powers is limiting union powers. But we know dems do no wrong and repubs do no right. I know that because I read it on media matters!

it's kind of entertainingly the mirror image of the missing votes in the Wisconsin election. WANTED: a democrat who's reaction to massachussets was the same as his reaction to wisconsin.

Hello, in hear, In hear, in hear, in hear..... :)

Where are the protests?? :)

Tim-

Here not hear! Lol well I guess the libtards will continue to avoid the hypocrisy. Smart, because lately they've had their butts handed to them, starting back in November.

‘Stick It to Walker’: Protesters Target ‘Pro’-Wisconsin Gov Companies With Stickers at Stores

The massive protests against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s controversial budget that paralyzed the state capital for weeks are now headed for the grocery stores.

But instead of marching outside stores with picket signs, protesters are planning more subversive action: placing anti-Walker stickers on products made by businesses they believe support the law that severely limits the collective bargaining power of most state workers.

You Libs make me puke.

I know that the nation has seen some really bad weather but did it snow in Hell when I wasn't looking?

No then this will never hold up in the long run, and it's way too damn bad.

Imagine the savings if we could get Unions banned Nation wide and have it stand up?

Oh yeah, I responded in that useless thread as well.

*Yawn*, what does the actions of people in politics have to do with me? I do not care whether it says R or D next to their name, I can still disagree with them.

You realize you look like a dumbass when you use the word "libtard" right? It does not even make sense or rhyme or anything. Just letting you know. :)

No need to ban unions.

Simply repeal the laws forcing anyone to pay attention to them.

I'm sorry but this is impossible. Demcrats are in charge in that state, and everyone knows that only Evil Republicans are trying to Balance the Debt On the Backs of Working America by Attacking Teachers.

Still, those kinds of numbers are impressive.
